Life at Ruby Manor

The well landscaped and maintained property includes a duck pond which is home to one or more families of ducks and ducklings every summer. A large deck and yard off the dining room provide a beautiful spaces to sit on nice days. Seasonally, patio furniture is located on the deck and near the duck pond. The property is very flat providing residents with a large area to walk, enjoy the outdoors or spend some private time with friends and family.

This modern well maintained home is tastefully decorated throughout with modern furnishings, fireplaces and accessories, all designed by an interior decorator, and supplied by one of St. John’s finest furniture stores. Ruby Manor has a beauty parlour, library, internet service throughout the manor, and large common areas to lounge or socialize with fellow residents, family, or friends.

We Put the Comfort of Our Residents First

Ruby Manor is a well planned and maintained retirement home for up to 57 people. The 45 private and 6 semi-private rooms are welcoming and spacious.

Bath tubs and accessible showers are conveniently located throughout the home, so every resident is within a very short walk of their preference. The menu is developed by a nutritionist with resident input and feedback. It is reviewed regularly by a dietician to ensure it meets or exceeds any requirements from our licensing body. The kitchen and dining room are centrally located for easy access to all residents. The kitchen is staffed by a cook throughout the day and a kitchenette at the other end of the dining room is always available for residents who wish to have a hot or cold beverage or a snack. Two large sitting areas are available to residents and families for visiting, participating in activities or just to relax and watch one of our large televisions. Laundry service is provided by the home but if a resident wish to do any of their own laundry there are two laundry rooms conveniently located in the building.
