We celebrate special events such as holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. All residents can enjoy the availability of recreational activities such as Bingo, card games, dances, and outings such as BBQ’s, bus tours, boat tours, picnics, etc.

Housekeeping and laundry will become a thing of the past for residents of Ruby Manor. Fresh linens and towels will be available daily and all personal items will be freshly laundered and ironed regularly or as needed. Dry cleaning is available at an additional cost.

Fine food and dining are one of life’s most enjoyable pastimes. Residents at Ruby Manor will enjoy delicious, nutritious, home-cooked meals prepared by the manor's qualified cooks. Special dietary needs will be accommodated for residents who are diabetic, low sodium diets, etc.

Residents will have regular visits with a Social Worker, Dietician, and Community Health Nurses with Eastern Health. Although we encourage residents to see the house doctor, residents are free to continue to remain with their family physician.

Health and well being will be given top priority at Ruby Manor. Residents and family members can have peace of mind knowing that hospitals and doctors’ offices are just minutes away. A physician conducts regular visits.
