We have a full time Activities Coordinator working a combination of days, evenings and weekends to provide a full and varied schedule of activities for residents to avail of. Residents are encouraged to participate in activities within the home and outings with our program. As everyone has their own interests and social comfort level our calendar is always being adapted in consultation with our residents to engage as many of them as possible.

Our in-house physician is well known and respected in the area. He visits on a weekly basis and is available to consult with staff via telephone for appropriate needs.

A hair salon is located in one of our common areas. Staff assist residents in the morning to dry, curl or set their hair following showers. A stylist visits regularly to offer other services at an additional cost such as cuts, colours, or perms. Family or friends of residents are welcome to use the facilities if the resident wishes to have someone familiar do their hair.

We use a local pharmacy to fill, package and deliver prescriptions to the manor. Delivery is available daily. All medications are filled through a single pharmacy to ensure a universal compliance packaging, documentation system, pharmacist audits and resource to staff administering medications.
